When the 2023 Met Gala committee extended an official invitation for honoree Karl Lagerfeld's cat—yes, his millionaire of a CAT—to walk the red carpet, Fresh Step saw a golden opportunity. To get involved in the conversation around a major cultural event, but mostly to help cats in need all over the country. So, we created the Fresh Step #AdoptionGala, using AI technology to put cats into outfits inspired by the best looks from the Met in real time.
Every cat for the first two days of posts was an adoptable cat from a local shelter in NYC.
